How to use this site

This web site contains four information sections and three image galleries.

The 'Welcome' section contains the site's 'Home' page, its 'Contact Us' page and information about using this web site. The other three information sections, 'Imagine the Memories', 'Photography Coverage' and 'Photography Styles', provide an introduction to the range of services available from Barrie Codling Wedding Photography. Here you will find information 'About Us' and ideas that may help you to plan the photographic record of your special day when you discuss your requirements in detail with us. To show you examples of the work of Barrie Codling Wedding Photography, the three gallery sections provide images sampling different styles. These are 'Classic', 'Informal' and 'Reportage'.

Each image gallery contains a number of pages with several representative images. These are shown at a size and quality that will allow you to appreciate them without taking too long to download from the web. If you want a better view of any of them simply click on the image of your choice and a much larger version will open in a new browser window. Closing this will return you to the original gallery page.

The enlarged images are provided using Flash. They should download reasonably quickly, but are much bigger files than the smaller versions. They may take a little while to load with a modem connection, but should be fine with broadband. If you have high security settings on your computer the enlargement window may be treated as a pop-up and you will need give permission for it to load.

Because they are provided in this way the image will occupy the full size of your screen if the size of the browser window is maximised. You can also enlarge parts of the image by right clicking on it and then selecting the 'Zoom' options from the menu that appears. Selecting 'Show all' will restore the full view. When zoomed in the cursor appears as a small hand and may be used to move the area of focus by holding down the right click of the mouse and dragging the image with it.
